See The Roof Of The World On This Everest Base Camp Trek
It’s time to think about holidays. Yes, you could jet off to your usual holiday destination - Saint Lucia, St. Moritz or St. Ives and laze in the sun, getting tipsy and fat, but we here at Life of Riley prefer spending almost three weeks conquering Gods!
Either raising money for charity or simply go for the kick, Revival Nepal offers you the chance to visit The Roof of the World… and believe me, that doesn’t happen every day (unless you’re a Yeti)
What Does The Itinerary Look Like?
Flying into Kathmandu, you’ll spend a few days exploring the sights from your hotel before flying to Lukla and, as thousands of colourful Prayer Flags whistle in the Himalayan wind, you’ll begin your altitude acclimatisation and hiking. Staying in Nepalese Teahouses (simple but comfortable mountain lodges) the route takes you via the Sherpa capital of Namche Bazaar, through beautiful valleys, dense forests and across glacial rivers before, on day 10, you reach the renowned viewpoint of Kalapatar for sunrise views of magisterial Mount Everest… the 8-9 hours a day of challenging terrain will be well worth it as we guarantee the memories of The Himalaya’s outstanding and unequalled beauty will be etched upon the part of your brain we call “bliss” forever.
With expedition dates throughout the year, this is an unforgettable, life-changing, God-conquering experience while raising money for your favourite charity. What’s not to love? So go on, click the link to find out about packages - the more money you raise, the less you pay!
