Paradise Thy Name Is Gibb’s Farm African Sanctuary
A visit to Gibb's Farm African Sanctuary might not cure the common cold, but it is a good answer to almost all of life’s other problems. Spending time rejuvenating and indulging in the delights of this piece of pristine, East African paradise is nature’s equivalent of the ‘Restore Factory Settings’ button. What could be better than soothing mind, body, soul and being able to indulge in ridiculously good, home-grown, home-brewed coffee? Welcome to bliss 2.0!
Don’t Pinch Me. I’m Dreaming
Enjoy the sounds of tranquillity that swirl through the nine floral gardens and drift out over the ridiculous views of coffee fields and East African terrain. You’ll be forgiven for believing it’s all but a dream. If it is, hopefully, the world will see that giant ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign on your door. This is one of those dreams you truly want to get lost in. Eat organic, locally sourced healthy foods in between your many visits to the Spa. Occasionally you may feel energised enough to go hiking, or cycling through the surrounds, where the elephant caves beckon.
But you’ll soon be enticed back, to sip another coffee while watching yet another mesmerising sunset from the veranda. Quite frankly, you should just take one for the team, and go and subject yourself to the rigours of paradise and pampering. It’s a tough ol’ life at the African Sanctuary, but somebody’s gotta do it!
