At Meteor Crater you’ll visit a mile-wide, fifty thousand-year-old canyon and learn about Humans in Space as the site was used by NASA for training astronauts for the moon landing!
From Flagstaff, it’s on to America’s finest landmark and event; The Grand Canyon Star Party. There, on the south rim, you’ll visit the Desert View Watchtower for lessons from your expert astronomers, NASA alumni Nadine Barlow and David Cole. The next day, you’ll learn about the geology of this natural wonder on walks to the canyon's most spectacular viewpoints.
