Why Le Jog Classic Car Rally?

Fancy finding your inner hero? How about unleashing your alter ego while hurtling 1,450 miles from Land’s End to John O’Groats behind the wheel of a classic car? It’s time you heard all about the HERO Le Jog Classic Car Rally!
Whether you see yourself as Penelope Pitstop in a Porsche 911 in perilous Powys, Withnail whizzing through wintery Welsh woodland in a vintage Jag, going bananas like Herbie in the Highlands, speeding through country lanes in a Mini Cooper like Michael Caine or perhaps powering around the bends in an Austin-Healey 3000 like errr… rugby player Austin Healey - this four-day event is the most fun you can have in a car, legally.
On top of that, it’s also one of the toughest, most exhilarating and rewarding historic rallies in the world.

Le Jog Classic Car Rally - You vs. The British Winter

Starting from Land’s End on a (more than likely) bleak midwinter’s morning, you and your partner will cannon through The West Country onto perfect rally-driving terrain; the narrow lanes that criss-cross Wales. Then test your endurance and mad driving skills with the first of two-night sections in a battle of wills - just you versus the punishing elements. In the dark! (Beware - there be dragons!)
Sunday brings an altogether more relaxed jaunt, with the chance to take in the stunning, possibly snowy scenery of Northern England before a deserved overnight rest in a hotel near Newcastle - amazingly, somehow only the halfway point!
Scotland sees the weather surely worsen and driving conditions become as gruelling as their national dish - gruel. Once you’ve navigated the Highlands, the calming sound of bagpipes will welcome you to the northernmost tip of Britain - John O’Groats for a well-earned Scots meal, a wee dram and a deep-fried Mars Bar.
Le Jog Classic Car Rally features mixed navigation, night-time driving and adverse, snowy and icy conditions. But that, Miss Moneypenny, is what makes a hero, right?
