Why Primavera Sound, 2018?

By the time summer 2018 rolls around, Barcelona-based Primavera Sound will have consistently delivered the noisiest and best festivals in Europe for sixteen sunny, Spanish summers. Always strongly influenced by rock, pop and the most underground tendencies of dance music, they’re not about to stop!

Previous year’s guests have included The Cure, Nick Cave, Public Enemy and The Pixies and in late May and early June, Primavera is taking over the beautiful Catalan capital of culture with yet another eclectic musical mix to please your ears, move your feet and lift your souls.

What makes Primavera the Prime Mover?

The lineup isn't available just yet, but to give you an idea of what's in store, Primavera served up a smorgasbord of sound in 2017 with Suede creating Electricity as Brett Anderson and Bernard Butler ripped it up with two sets on two stages. LCD Soundsystem performed for Drunk Girls. Tame Impala created Mind Mischief, Radiohead were Creeps and Icelandic geniuses Sigur Rós banged the Gong on the Parc del Fòrum stage.

With every musical taste catered for, anyone not in Barcelona to shake their booties will be missing out big time. Day tickets, Event Passes and VIP Packages, plus hotel accommodation are all available by clicking the link…

We promise, as soon as we know the lineup, you'll be the first to know. That's just one of many reasons to sign up for Life of Riley e-mail updates and follow us on Facebook and Twitter!
