Searching For The Perfect Slope? Why not Ski Antarctica?
Just what is it that drives people to try Ski Antarctica? For some snow-loving enthusiasts, finding a slope to ski down, one that isn’t congested with a thousand stumbling, tourists is easy. But these lucky sods live in far-flung, ridiculously beautiful corners of the world. Places so idyllic they deserve to have Disney CGI characters bouncing and chirruping about.
For the rest of us, we have to hunt for these remarkable places to get our ski fix. And of course, once the search has begun, it just keeps getting wilder and weirder.
We've been hunting far and wide.... and made this awesome discovery - Ski Antarctica.
"Once, When I Went To Ski Antarctica..."
Consider this, how many people do you know who are able to look you straight in the eye and start a sentence with the phrase, “So when I went on a trip recently to ski the virgin slopes of Antarctica…”
Now imagine being that person.
Because from that point on you could mumble on incoherently about Pingu the Penguin and his pals if you so desired - your enraptured audience would be too busy wiping the jealous drool from their chins to pay any proper attention to the rest of your remarkable story.
Oh how they would salivate (your audience, not Pingu and co) as you nonchalantly showed them the pictures of the boat that took you around the icy coastline of Antarctica. They’d sigh in amazement when you described the view from the small plane that soared adrenaline-rushingly low over the Drake Passage. By the time you got to describing the overnight camping on the mainland (so you could tackle a remote peak or two), you’ll be having to pick them up off the floor.
Not that you'd embark on this once in a lifetime skiing experience to impress anyone else but yourself, of course.
