Why The Ashes Australia 2017/18?
Cricket. A game for gentlemen played over five days in the height of the English summer...
But now that England has voted out of summers, the best way to hear the unmistakable sound of leather on willow is to join the boys on tour down under between November 2017 and January 2018.
While the English freeze back home in their castles, these five test matches and five One Day Internationals will take you the length and breadth of stunning, varied and sunny Australia.
The schedule hasn’t been released yet, but (in no particular order!) you’ll fly into the near-tropical humidity of Brisbane to watch England hit Australia for six at The Gabba.
What makes this season's tour so special?
Australia will launch a fightback led by defiant fans from their capital at Sydney’s SCG before showers stop play at the MCG - that’s because Melbourne is the only city to somehow feature four seasons in one day!
The series is sure to be tied at Adelaide’s Oval but the decider might be the last ever test match amongst the heat and dust of The Waca, before the new Perth Stadium opens.
With plenty of free time to explore Sydney, adore Adelaide and metropolitan Melbs and hit the beaches of Bondi and The Gold Coast, this cricket tour will help you fall in love with the real Australia.
